Excel Threshold Prints
The origin of this work was the record of my daily movements. I wanted to produce something material from these ephemeral and normally forgotten everyday activities. I wanted to use an everyday tool, not normally associated with the production of art. Using the spreadsheet tool Excel to process the records of my movements, it automatically produced a visual, which by chance, looked like abstract paintings which were then printed on canvas. Each canvas was titled with the relevant date.
