The View From Here

For over two years I photographed the view from my window each day. Just the sky and rooftops are visible from my vantage point. From skies over a season I created three fan-books like those used for paint samples. For this show, with 9 other artists, at a former church, the altar become the plinth on which the books were displayed. Visitors wore gloves to handle the books emphasizing the value or even sacredness of these everyday views.
