At Tate Modern in Jan 2018, the theme was the contemporary artist’s studio. Each artist constructed their fully functioning studios at Tate Modern. Mine was my bedroom studio (including the bed) which showed work in progress using thermal printers. My practice, like many contemporary artists, is a ‘post-studio’ or laptop studio. Visitors were invited to print a ‘receipt’ recording the memory they wished to take from their day. This receipt gave the event an afterlife.
